    4.8ls stock th400 stock

    hi i have 4.8 ls mated to a th400 it starts and idles okay but when you give it gas it will rev a bit then bog down and back to an idle any advice?here is my tune. ps everything is stock

    If the truck was a factory auto, just changing the drop down menu to manual does nothing. Leave it as a 4L60e, disable every single transmission related DTC.

    You also have to disable abuse mode, set it to 7,000rpm and 0mph. Disable the transmission abuse mode too. And disable brake torque mngt in the systems tab > system options, set it from 1 to zero.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    It's the factory th400 in a sqaurebody so I just put a 4.8 in

    I didn't really ask a question, I was just stating the facts. Maybe that gets lost on people these days.

    i figured it out just took me a bit lol im all new to this hp tuners and still trying to learn. thank you so much. those dtcs i dint even catch those i will change those tomorrow. i really appreciate it sorry i was slow just trying to learn.

    Just toggle the switch in the flip down window to non-computerized automatic. It works despite what some claim.
