    Lightbulb WinOLS question

    Could you use WinOLS to extract a bin file, then use tunerpro to create an XDF off of that? To make user defined parameters?

    WinOLS cant extract bin files, only edit them.

    Without the BIN extraction part of it yes. But there is way more to it than that.

    You need a Damos or A2L. Those files you pay big money for.

    With just a BIN you have a HEX file that has nothing defined and looks like a bunch of numbers and letters lined up in a un controlled fashion.

    What XDF are you wanting?

    I can see if I can build it for you.

    Trying to be able to have XDFs readily available for multiple strategies, i have several 6.0 trucks and have several friends with them as well that would like me to help them with tuning.

    can hptuners mpvi extract bin files?

    No. HPtuners will only pull HPtuners files.

    Contact me and I can help you with BIN files but the BIN is only the start of it. Probably the easiest and smallest part of this whole process.

    Do have a recommendation on a tool and software for reading out .bin files? Kess v3?

    why dont you just read it out with hpt and convert it to a bin??
