    Question knock retard

My project 1979 Cutlass, LS swapped 5.3 (LM7) with Texas Speed cam stage 2 w/ LS6 valve springs. How can I go about addressing knock retard. I'm having knock in 4,000 - 4,400 rpm range. I have files attached. any help would be deeply appreciated, I've been trying to address this issue for some time now. If there's any other areas that needs attention, I'm open to any suggested adjustments.

4k-4,4k is your peak torque peak cylinder pressure range. You have too much timing in it at WOT unless it's a low compression motor. I'd pull 2-3 degrees from about half the table. See if that doesn't fix it.

This looks more like it has a pending knock sensor code. You can tell because anytime it gets into PE the knock sensors max out with max allowable retard. If you read the service manual it says this happens when a code for the knock sensors is pending or active.

You have a lot of tuning left to do. This thing is very lean for most of the drive.

I'm so frustrated with it because I'm far from a tuner. What would it cost to have it tuned via mail to correct my issues

Scan for the code. It will likely be like p0327. Then follow the service manual to correct it.

Yes we do email tuning but a knock sensor code isn't a tune issue.

I did a scan and the code is 0x10: P0332 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low (Bank 2) (Pending, Current)

Ok.. You should follow the service manual to address the problem causing that code.

Until then your knock sensors are going to just pull max allowable timing anytime you are in PE (like heavy load situations)
