    545RFE 5sp to 6sp conversion

I hate the ratios on the 545RFE in my Dakota and keep reading about enabling the true 6sp shift pattern. My ultimate goal is to swap in a 66RFE or see if s shop can put the 66RFE gearset in my existing case so I get a better 1st ratio for towing and a more normal upshift pattern for driveability.

I tried to follow some guides here to enable the 6sp upshift pattern and also used some of the stock parameters from a 66RFE file to try and get the shift patterns right. In the end it felt exactly like it did before I made any changes. Still skipped 2nd-prime on upshifts. I've attached my test file. Could anyone give me feedback on what I missed? I put in some crazy values for the 1-2prime shift cells hoping that would force the controller to go to 2nd before 2nd-prime but it didn't seem to change anything.

Your 1-2 and 2-2prime tables overlap up to 20% thottle. If you want, I can super impose the tables I have on my 65RFE if you want and attach the file here

give that a try, maybe make the 2-1 a little less sensitive, I have been meaning to play with that. It liked to get a little happy with the 30% ish throttle kickdown at 20-25mph. I would say split the difference between what I have and stock.

Thank you for that. I haven't even driven the truck in three months. I'll see if I can play with this next week.
