yup...some accessory fuse...most likely the cig lighter...
and I think somebody said there were 2 of them in the newer vettes....2 cig lighter fuses....something like that...

just pull them one at a time till you find it...LOL

I checked the fuses, but both of my cig lighters work. Is there a other place I can check?

    Thanks for your help!

start pulling fuses and looking at them.....
some under dash..some in engine bay if I remember correctly

or even just do a temporary replacement of each fuse with something bigger than all of them..one at a time...
slower..but you will find the culprit

If the scanner works you are getting power (assuming its powered off the OBD2 port). What is the main problem here? What are you trying to do, and why do you think you dont have power? Have you put a multimeter on it to check it?

I installed the interface but I'm not getting any lights on it. When my scan tool is installed everything works fine. Do I have a wrong cable or a interface thats my question?

    Thanks

have you actually tried to use the scanner or...? Your being very vague with the information you've given so far other then we know you have a handheld scanner of some sort that works fine. Help us help you.

Pin 16 has power on it all the time (orange wire on the OBDII port) if you don't have power there check the wiring for cuts/abrasions.

It sounds to me like he's saying he installed the scanner and it works, but that when he plugs his tuner in it doesn't. Doesn't the tuner also draw from the USB port for power? Wouldn't that light up the lights on the tuner?

Reaching a bit here, Interface should light up just plugged into the usb port.

See if your interface powers up from the USB port when your laptop is connected to wall power.

    It is a USB interface??
Using a laptop on battery power??

I connected the laptop to usb cable & mpvi powers up. After doing all that I went connected to the obd port and scanned......error message reads "The interface was found but no power from the vehicle detected or check connection" I checked every fuse that links to the obd port all fuse's were good and there are no wires cut either. What can be wrong?

I have a friend with the same setup (hp tuners) everything works on my car. I also own a Snapon scan tool that works also! Do I have wrong cables?

Sorry for the long story. Thanks for your help!
