Hey folks,
I have a 2012 Escalade ESV im trying to get back on the road as a daily driver for family. I've removed the 6.2 and have procured a 6.0 engine (LFA) from a 2012 Escalade hybrid. It came with 243 heads.

I'm going to do a DoD delete and freshen up the 6.0 before installing it. I would like to keep VVT but I do not want to pay $400 for the .500 lift GM L94/6.2 camshaft that is non-DOD.

Can I run the .480 lift (6.0, 5.3) VVT non-DoD GM camshaft for $99 but with 1.8 rockers to get me to .500 lift? And start with the OE 6.2/L94 tune/ECM with just DoD disabled?

I was thinking of putting headers on so that it may slightly counter the .2 litre smaller displacement.

Again, I need simple/quick/cheap as much as possible due to it being a daily driver for the wife.

The 1.8 rockers I have are the shaft system from speedmaster I got on black friday. They are adjustable.

I don't want to be debugging a complicated VVT custom tune if I can help it. Not on the old ladies ride anyways!
