6l80 TCM OS Upgrade

Good Day Gents,

Little advise/help appreciate..

I am no expert and just new to this..

I got Ls2 and 6L80E trans. I want to chance the my trans OS is 2008 and want to upgrade to 2009. I got credits for it and wont let me to upgrade to 2009 TCM OS.. anyone have any experience with this.. please refer the attached photo..

Not sure if your new TCM OS is going to be compatible with the ECM OS. There were changes between 08-09.

You'll have to license the new file in addition to the license for your vehicle.

That being said, go to Documents/HPtuners/Settings and you'll see a license tab. Drag that out of the folder. Drag it to your desktop or you can even delete it. Then try flashing again and it should prompt you to license it.

Thanks for the reply mate. I have change the ECM to 09 and my gearbox is still 08 thats the reason i want to update the TCM OS. I have try your method but no luck.
