    Audi RS3 "Wrong ECU"?

    I'll preface this by saying I'm not a VAG tuner, I specialize in Fords. My coworker recently bought a 2019 RS3 and we were trying to read it. Under the supported vehicles list it shows the 16-19RS3 with the 17.1.62 ECU is supported, but when I try to read it identifies the controller as a 17.1.1 and will not read it. Anyone know what's going on here? We also tried to read it with ECUTek (which also says supports 17.1.62 on their site) and same thing, unable to read it.

    I just completed a virtual read a 2018 RS3 and it picked up the ECU as MED 17.1.62, have you tried using the beta version of VCM Editor? Also that ECU software version number looks odd.RS3 Read.PNG
