    Transmission Tuning

I put together a spreadsheet to help me with transmission tuning. I use it to calculate the speed for the RPMs I want the trans to shift at for the various tables as well as handling the torque converter lock calculations. I have options for single or triple disk converters and whether to lock the converter at WOT. I also calculate the inputs for Trans Revolutions/Mile and VSS Pulses Per. I have a sheet for the 4L60E and 4L80E. I have stared at it so long I might have missed something. Anyone want to review it and see if they see an issue?

As far as which aspect? I considered it for a triple disk where you can lock it early in each gear to prevent reving when normal driving and keep temps down. Nice thing about having a truck based OS is the performance tables. You can set up a normal driving tune to lock up at low rpms and gears and then press the tow/haul button to switch to the performance tables for less lock and more torque production. Does that answer your question?
