    Supercharged 6.0 tune swap

I have a 2002 silverado that originally had a 4.8l v8 in it that went bad. I purchased a 6.0l lq4 with a kenne bell 2.2l supercharger out of a 2003 hummer h2. I was given the hummers pcm when I got the engine and was able to plug it into my truck and extract the tune file. I used the compare tool and swapped over all the data and it was running pretty good. I needed to convert to a 2 bar os and was going crazy trying to figure out how to do it and came across a post stating I needed to be in advanced view, not basic. I didn't know that and found a lot of other stuff that needed to be changed as well. After I swapped all data over, now the truck won't idle and floods out. I changed all idle air control back to the 4.8 numbers thinking it was a difference between the etc and drive by cable. But it made no difference. Is there something I missed? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it. I left my laptop at work so I can't share the files, but I will as soon as I get to work tomorrow. Again, thank you to anyone that has any advice.

Be aware that a 2002 computer is a P01 and a 2003 computer is a P59, so some of the things you are putting into your 2002 computer may be wrong. The hummer would have been drive by wire and yours is drive by cable I would assume.

The 2 bar OS changes a few things. You need to have the correct linear and offset data for the MAP sensor it is running. The VE table once upgraded will have a solid value in it, something absurd like 500 or whatever, you must put create a new VE table for it. Most canned tunes for supercharger kits don't use 2 bar OS's, so you need to make a VE table and you need a 2 bar MAP sensor. You'll want to fail the MAF on a 2 bar OS as well, so it's just running speed density.

Along with those other changes, make sure the injector data is correct if that H2 engine came with larger injectors and make sure you have enough fuel pump for that too.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thank you for your reply. I put a stock lq4 tune from a 02 silverado 2500 just to get the idle controls from a drive by cable engine and it idles now. But when actually looking at the tune that came with the engine, it was tuned very poorly. They just took the timing table and made all the negative numbers at high map numbers and made them 10 degrees. They also didn't add the injector data, it has 52lb injectors in it. I was hoping for a quick tune swap, but I guess I will be learning to tune.

It's not a good idea to copy over a bunch of things from a different tune file. Especially from a different type of PCM all together.
