You need an MPVI3 and you need the EEC firmware on your MPVI, and yes.

Awesome thank you Eric! Sorry if I missed it, looked back and didn?t find it, was the firmware update file attached within this thread or do I need to go to the support page to find that? Appreciate it!

I was waiting for the 03/04 cobra support before purchasing the MPVI3, but once I have the tool in hand I will be sure to shoot you a PM. Thanks again Eric!

Eric, It seems you might've missed my post. I want to get the MPVI3 but only if I can get confirmation that I'll atleast be able to tune the 04 expedition 5.4 eddie bauer 4x4. I'd also like to be able to tune a 00 ranger 2.5 manual and a 99/latter half of 99 so basically a 00/ f150 4.2 2wd. They happen to ALL be EEC-Vs.

    Thanks,

    Jaden

I PM'd you my first, last name and MPVI 2+ serial for the EEC-V firmware beta test. Updated to the latest beta and it opens. Lot more tables than I was expecting to see. Thanks for all your hard work.

MPVI2+ has nothing to firmware test to my knowledge. MPVI3 is the way to go for these applications.

So the plan is to have all eec-v strategies added and available? I just don't want to get it and find out my application isn't going to be available. The main one I'm concerned with is the 04 eddie bauer 5.4 expedition.

When opening this file, a message appears about the need to connect mpvi2 interface. Can I open the file without this connection?
I haven't bought the mpvi3 yet, and before purchasing I would like to see what I can tune in my car.

Eric... You are a godsend. I have a 99 mustang v6. Ecm has BEH1 on it. Is that what you need to know if its supported?

i just spent maybe 800 bucks with sct to tune this car and i've always been HPT since almost day one, I have the original units before the mpvi setup, I wanted to tamper with a mustang for giggles and couldnt tune it years ago when i got it, a buddy just told me today you was working on these eecv support and now im so frustrated. I just got this sct advantage 3 working today also and its so cluster (french word) compared to hpt. I'll upgrade so fast to a mpvi 3 if you can make my day by tuning this 99 mustang v6 lol.

    ecm code is BEH1
i think the strategy is CVBAOBZ
    the comm is SCP

I hope you can make my day

    Hey Eric,

Flicked you a DM too, but any chance of AU falcon support? (In order for me to test on my car I need NGIC9 Added, but N9XJ0 and N9XJ4 are two other common AU 6 Cyl strats). NGIC9 first would be an awesome start.

They are Australian EECs so I have no idea what you might or might not be able to do with them. My open source defs I made myself for them are at https://github.com/Airbornofficial8/...us-EEC-Project if you need.

    Cheers,
    Rob

You need an MPVI2 or 3 connected to view the maps.
