2007 Ram 3500 CM2100 Previously Modified File

I have a friend that just picked up a 2007 3500 and it was an auto with the Operating System 55351435BF. The truck had a programmer in it and it was not married to the truck, however after reading the tune with hp it said file cannot be modified or saved due to checksum errors. Can I flash a stock file from the repo? I found one for a 2007 but it had a different OS number, I have some other tools including kess v3 and pcm flash and a hand full of j2534 devices including tactrix, mongoose and the jlr pro. If anyone can advise the best course of action at this point that would be awesome. Thanks
