I have a 2002 4.6 2v Expedition which is not supported by HP Tuners. Question is, will a 2002 4.6 2v Mustang ecu, which is supported, plug into the Expedition wiring harness and allow me to tune my Expedition?

So you maybe able to do this easy but a lot of times there are some differences in the wiring going into the PCM ad sub systems this is more true as you get into 2005 and up ford vehicles. I can take a look at the wiring diagrams and see what if anything is different. You have a 2002 4.6L 2V expedition you can most likely do a 2002 F150 4.6L 2V update and have everything working properly easier than the mustang since the trucks and SUVs share more similarities. Now with the Expedition make sure you have a 4R70 I know some of the 5.4 2V and 4V Navigator/Expeditions used the 4R100 transmission if im not mistaken. Now you may be able to run a 4R70 off a 4R100 calibration but try to keep everything matching. Just let me know if I can be of assistance I'll try my best to help also double check HPT doesn't support the 00-02 Expedition 4.6 2V they are always adding support and if you contact them directly they might be able to get your calibration supported.
