2021 Honda Talon 1000R, can i correct the speedometer for bigger tires ?

I see a couple of options in my stock tune to change the fan settings, the timing tables doesn't seem MAP based but TPS vs engine RPM base, remove torque management from the trans etc.
but i don't see options to correct the speedometer like we have in the car world. I went from the stock 28" to 30" tires, would it be such a thing to correct the speedo readings. i haven't bought any HPT licenses yet for the Talon, but am i reading this right that i'll need 4 credits to tune this puppy ?

Were you able to make any head way on speedometer correction based on tire size?
I have a 2021 1000X4 that has 32's on it. My cable just got delivered today and im going to start digging into the tune this weekend but was looking to see what others have found.

When upgrading to larger tires, such as moving from 28" to 30", the speedometer calibration can indeed be affected. Here are some insights regarding your questions:

    Speedometer Correction

Calibration Options: Unlike many cars, UTVs like the Honda Talon may not have straightforward options for speedometer calibration in the stock tuning software. If you don?t see an option for speedometer correction, it might mean that the stock ECU does not support this feature directly.

Aftermarket Solutions: Consider aftermarket tuning solutions or modules that allow for speedometer calibration. Some tuners offer software that can adjust the speedometer settings based on tire size changes.

    HPTuners Credits

License Requirement: Yes, you are correct that you would typically need 4 credits to tune the Honda Talon using HPTuners. Each vehicle requires a specific number of credits based on the platform and the modifications you plan to make.
    Additional Considerations

Recalibration Tools: Look into recalibration tools specifically designed for UTVs. Some companies may offer devices that can adjust various parameters, including speedometer readings. play color block jam
Consult Forums/Communities: Engaging with online forums or communities focused on Honda Talon modifications can provide insights and recommendations from other users who have faced similar challenges.
