having issue connecting

I'm not new to HPT however I am on a new laptop and am trying to connect to a new vehicle (07 TBSS). I have installed HPT, in the editor section added the new key to unlock the new 2 credits I need to start playing with it. When I try and read the PCM it tells me "Interphase not found or not responding, Verify connection and power to VDP"

So The computer reconizes the unit when pluged in via USB. asks me to install software. First I tried connecting with out letting it try to find drivers ect. I have tried to let it find software and of course it failed. I tried reinstalling the software with out any luck.

The scanner side of things won't run either.. Any ideas?

does it work when you connect to a different supported vehicle?

Don't know I bought the TBSS for the fiance last weekend and any other supported vehicle would be 50+ miles away from me right now..

first thing I would suspect is the drivers so make sure both MPVI A & MPVI B are installed.

It does not appear to be loading the drivers. I pulled down the most recent version of HPT today 2.1.16.0

When looking at the drivers it is showing 2 MVPI under the Other catagory with an explanation point on both of them. When looking at them there is no driver info. Where can I find the drivers?

Seems as if no drivers came down with the new version. Anyone have drivers they can send me? I can't seem to find them on HPT's website..

I'm good now.. Found the drivers via the search function.. Up and running.
