    o2 sensor

    1999 Cavalier, 2.2 OHV, T3/T4 turbo, 8psi, 2.5" full exhaust no cat.

    We will be tuning next week, and I was wondering if my 2nd o2 sensor would throw a code due to my cat being removed, and if so can I disable it using HPT?

    2nd O2 can be removed or left in...it wont hurt anything..
    it will throw a code unless you disable it...HPT will allow you to adjust how the DTC's report..
    set it to no error reported for all of the 2nd o2 stuff and leave SES enabled...

    thanks a million, we were planning on getting my car tuned in one week.

    1999 Cavalier, 2200 OHV, T3/T4 turbo, 8psi, 2.5" full exhaust, no cat...
    I upgraded to Ford Brown Top Injectors (36lb up from 16lb) and added that turbo mentioned above...

    when we go to tune, what would you suggest starting with? thanks in advance...
