open your scanner, press record and drive for 5 miles.
post that and we can see things, and or tell you what needs to be recorded.

If you dont have an idea what i wrote, then we have to go to step one and help you learn.

great log, BUT you need to log short term fuel trims bank 1 and 2 and long term fuel trims bank 1 and 2.

Without those all we can see is your O2s are working, but there isn't any real info gained from the log.
LTft and StFt once logged, can then be graphed to see lean and rich conditions, and is needed for doing any actual tuning.

Also i would add injector duty cycle as well to see what percentage of injector youre using. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgnIukluIjo )

    You are lean all over.
I'd add 10% fuel to the entire VE table, and then start your VE tuning.

-i didnt check, the maf is failed in this log?

Does nobody else here see a major problem with all this?

He is commanding an AFR in the 16's just cruising down the road. Regular stoich for pump gas is never that value and the tune file posted above has lean cruise disabled.

You can't just try and get magic fuel mileage by changing the stoich value, it doesn't work like that.

And why has nobody even asked what a top end rebuild involved? What is actually done to this engine? Is it all stock or what the hell is going on here?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

the top end is all stock the lifters where replaced so it sounds like you know how to get the right tune for what i am looking for so what do i need to do to get better mpg and still keep the getup and go when i need it
