Anyone know of a cable or cheap passthrough that will work with SPS for programing? I know of the mongoose for 500 plus and the knock off MDI2 wich is probably what id buy in that price range but i already have an autel so im really just looking for a cheaper option to will alow to me use SPS.

It depends, each person has their own limit for how much jankiness they're willing to tolerate. The VCX Nano MDI-clone things do work, they are knock-offs and have to use cracked/pirated software, but once you work through all the quirks and bugs they will work as any other J2534 passthru (until the timer expires and you have to do... something... in the VCX software to reset it). It also depends if you need it once a year or 3 times a day. I have one of the VCX things but no way would I ever put up with it if I had to use it on a regular basis, or depend on it for earning a living.

I was looking at them but all the "jankiness" makes me hesitant i would use it pretty often. I allso see the VCX come with a virus pre installed lol. i guess i was just hopeing someone know of a 75 dollar cable. I dont understand why the mongoose cables are 600 bucks.

$600 isn't that much for jankiness removal, hardware that was designed rather than copied and turned into an anonymously-sold minimum-viable commodity gadget, official software with updates if and as needed, and after-sale support.

I bought a Dashbridge CX by Dashlogic but haven’t used it yet. DBCX10U is the model.

Bought one of these.....OBDXPro GT. Works great. I have a janky clone MDI, and while it works fine on my older Class 2 cars, I have one newer GMLAN car that the clone can't comm with any module on the low speed GMLAN bus. The OBDX device comms with everything, and has a Tech2Win driver.
