Lap time coming out combined as (2) laps
I've had Race Render for several years, using GoPro 7,8 & 10 cameras with GPS on a kart track. Small oval, running 9 second laps. All the lap times come up as combined for two laps. Is there a setting that controls laps being combined together for time? Or is there a setting that limits a minimum lap time? Hoping to resolve, the data works and its very consistent at (2) lap combined times. The MPH numbers look fine, just the lap trigger times that seem off, always combining two laps.
I've been playing with start / finish setup options, no luck yet.
Thanks in advance for any resolution to this.

There shouldn't be a minimum lap time (at least that I've seen), but I also haven't really dealt with any laps less than about 30 seconds or so... I wonder if the very small track causes the difference from one lap to the next to be too large to trigger a "new" lap.
The manual setting of the start/finish in the data file config seems like the obvious solution, but it sounds like you've already tried that.
You could try manually editing the laps with the Laps button, but that might be difficult if you're relying on the GPS for the lap time.

I have a feeling its a minimum lap time issue, I need to study it more, but I do think it works if the lap is really slow. Or the tolerance around the start finish needs to be tweaked manually. The entire oval width is probably as wide and a singe lane on larger tracks. Oddly all speed and map looks fine. Thanks for the response regardless.

Yeah, sometimes the GPS data is read incorrect so the setting for "Set Start / Finish Point" doesn't work every lap.
My last and very easy way is to use the button "Laps" in the upper menu line and then "Edit lap Times" to edit the lines. So I can adjust all lap times to the correct one.
Okay, I need to the correct lap times from track personnel, but that's no problem at all tracks I've been before.
