How can I change the Lap numbers to account for Yellow Flag Laps? Changing Lap times?
I would like to be able to modify the lap count so that the ones done under a yellow flag aren't counted. I'm fine doing it manually but I can't find a way to change it. Also, any time I change any of the lap times it breaks everything out of sync, even when the change is by a .002 to the second. I would just like to line up the Lap times with what is on SpeedHive and not what the GoPro GPS came up with. I have been doing this manually in another editing software but it is a huge pain.

I've discovered that when I edit the lap times, the start/finish moves to the beginning of the footage and trying to move it back doesn't generate any new laps. I'm stuck with lap 00 forever. No way to undo. I have to close without saving and try again.

Like mentioned in the other thread, you could try manually setting the start/finish in the data file config.
If that doesn't work, you should be able to manually edit the laps like you're already trying. You could try to manually set Lap 000 to be the length from the start of the video until the first time you cross the line so that it should always start exactly on time.
I haven't had any issues adjusting the laps manually in the past, but my data files do explicitly record the times instead of calculating them based on GPS.

If you?re trying to modify lap counts to exclude those done under a yellow flag and sync lap times between SpeedHive and GoPro GPS data, I?ve found it can be tricky. Manual adjustments, even by just .002 seconds, can easily throw everything out of sync. To make it easier, try using race-specific software like RaceRender or RaceChrono, which are built for this type of data handling and often allow you to ignore certain laps. You can also export the data from SpeedHive and make edits in a spreadsheet before re-importing. It saves a lot of hassle compared to manual editing in basic video software.
