Does this play through like normal for you, or does it freeze at around the 1 minute mark and do the Spinny Circle Of Doom thing, no buffer refilling, no network activity at all after it freezes?

Well that's just fantastic. I give up.
It sure doesn't help that Youtube gives different versions of the site to different users apparently according to the alignment of the celestial bodies or whatever.
3 different browsers, extensions disabled or not, safe mode, rebooted everything in the whole house, tried all different video resolutions, nothing changes, the broken ones still won't play and the others play just like they always did. It started doing this out of the blue Wednesday night.
This one plays for 7 seconds, then goes "Something went wrong. Refresh or try again later."
Just followed your link using Edge on my Android phone and it works for me.
