    I'm posting this here even though my ZF8 HP is actually in a Jaguar. Not much traffic in the Jaguar section, and we use the same transmission, and I have a Dodge Ram, which means I'm still a Dodge guy.

    I'm looking at my touque management tables, and Normal has less management than performance does. This seems backwards. Are these tables switched? I have a feeling that performance mode is actually using the Normal tables, and normal mode is using Performance. See attached 2-3 upshift tables. What do you guys think? Thanks!!

    they are not switched

    track mode uses more than sport sometimes as to not spin tire if you are turning during shift

    max mode uses very little TM

    Torque management is in place to support shift and transmission lifetime.
    Stock values are done in a way transmission would delivery the best performance based on required B10 (lifetime calculation) - values based on shift schedule, pressure, engine reaction, ... (multiple inputs)

    A lot of people undervalue the power of torque management
