Hey guys, I'am a seasoned LS tuner about to tune my first ford, I'am wanting to know what the main fueling table is to tune? Is it the MAF load Failure table or is it the MAP per airmass High Res table? And the primary spark table is the Borderline Knock table?
Is there any process of info on the forum to follow? I didn't find much here
Map airmass high res (higher numbers = leaner), borderline knock (or MBT which ever is lowest), fuel base (Same as LS PE table except it's in lambda units) and sometimes the Tuning Correction table is needed.
Want a cunt of a response, then write a shit post. It's a simple formula; Short preamble + problem statement + attempted resolution + pertinent build specs + tune + succinct data log with correct channels

So the Tuning correction table looks abit like a VE table, is this one all the cruise and low speed ?
Fuel base table is where we command target fuel AFR?
So I set fuel base table to all 1 lambda ? So I can tune the Tuning corrections table to 14.7 AFR?
Primary fuel adjustment is the map airmass table. Tuning correction is to correct non linear fuelling for rpm vs load. E.g. where your log shows fuelling error inconsistency for the same rpm at varying load. Also need to be mindful the car is properly warmed up as there is a cold start fuel table in play for the first few minutes or so.
Search for Darryl's speed density write up in this sub-forum. He goes into great detail. It has all the information you need and which is adjusted when.
