i bought anHP Tuner E41 L5P and i have some questions

I bought an HP Tuner E41 L5P upgrade/unlock kit used with 8 credits for the E41
I want to use it to tune an E38 ECU if I don't use the upgrade box can I just use the MPVi3 on that ECU after buying credits?

I loaded HP tuner and was able to read the ECU pull codes but don't want to spend on credits if it's not going to work
I did open a support case but they said it would not work for that ECU but I prob did not make myself clear

yes you should be able to tune your E38 ecu with your MPVI2/MPVI2+/MPVI3 device without issue.
