converting auto tune to manual e38 l76 ve ss series 1 to series 2
has gone from a series 1 ve to a series 2 ve both e38 now in a manual
copied most of the tables across so i didn't brick the ECU by changing the OS,
very new to this stuff been reading for a long while but first time really getting my hands dirty.
car had upgrades internally, and a tuned tune file, whether it is any good or not is 2 different things.
single row mater timing, cam(couldn't figure out specs because I'm lazy and i now regret that.),ls7 lifter 7.400 pushrods, dual springs . i did a trunnion upgrade whilst in there. oil pump all the usual build stuff
some things I'm not understanding if i should change eg. under the fuel tab the series1 tune has different values but im not sure if im meant to change them across as the series 2 has a FPCM and series 1 does not from my understanding i could be completely off.
so I'm mainly confused about the following
fueling sys tab; because of the differences in OS that I've noticed looking at some from series 1-2.
then engine->air flow->desired throttle map a,b,c ;if i meant to touch these, the blurb in hptuners says specifically not to.
idle->airflow -> transmission shift airflow; i don't know how this affects the manual/automatic change if i meant to change these over aswell.
engine->torque management-> etc maps should i be bringing these across?
when i slow down into 2nd and brake for a turn scenario i notice the engine try to rev away from me abit, is that because of idle->airflow-> percent max - brake 5%; being higher then normal percent max. im presuming a thing for auto's to not stall out ?
thanks for any insight and help let me know if you need anything more really appreciate it
migrated is obviously the tune that i copied across to my cars OS.
and other is from the donor car i got the engine out of.
ok so im still trying to learn what this stuff is, i can understand the reading and that different things model and intereact with other different tables across multiple factors.
things like this though i dont know if i should change.
sorry if it comes across like i want some one to do the work for me, that is certainly not the case just looking for abit of a guidance as im hesitant of blowing my car up.

do i just import this data directly across ? or will this do something to the fuel pump ? donor car used virtual fuel sensor in the tune, where as my car is using sensor.
i do know from reading that consensus is virtual is junk..
