New Toys at the foff household

Well Best Buy was having a 50% off sale so I was able to grab this 50" plasma for only $999

    http://www.epinions.com/Hewlett_Pack...ay_~full_specs

of course had to get a stand for the tv

    http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Slam-...oductDetail.do

I also must state my new love for my recent Dodge Grand Caravan purchase...this thing is just AWESOME!

I was able to fit both the TV & Stand in my minivan with tons of room to spare and couldve definitly fit the 73" I was considering if I took out the 2nd row seating...thats something I don't think I couldve said with ANY of the full size SUV's I looked at in my search for a new vehicle.

Stow & go seating is best thing since sliced bread hehe

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

haha, its been a long time coming Mike...and im a frugal SOB...we'd been rocking the same 10+ year old RCA 27" and the picture was fading slowly.

I recently picked up a very slightly used Flatpanel RCA 24" for upstairs and this one was just a long time coming and the deal we got on it was just too good to pass up knowing my tax refund is only about a week away

So, since you are pimping your BIG TV ... does this mean we are all invited to a monday night football party at your place? LOL!

Hmm, wonder what HPT would look like on that thing?

I've still got both TV's i've ever owned. One 25" is about 6 years old and the other 25" is about 9 years old.

It's very rare that I'm home alone and the TV is on.

Put some decent stuff on TV and I might consider some upgrades.
