6l80 Trans Slip 2-3 High RPM

Out of the blue i have developed a trans slip when in high RPM's shifting from gears 2-3. Truck is a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. I have shift timing reduced 20% in all upshifts except 5-6, torque converter apply/release disabled gears 1-4, all converter slipped zeroed out. Is their anything in my tune causing this or is their anything I can do to fix this? Will post tune file below. 2015 GMC Sierra FINAL MAF VVE.hpt

Have you checked your trans fluid level? Sounds like you may be 1/2 to 1 full quart low

I agree, add a little bit of transmission fluid. It's okay to overfill them just a little bit.

Also if that is a stock converter, we have learn that it's not a good idea anymore to zero the TCC slip completely. Still allow for 5-10rpm of slip as zero slip can hurt the stock converters.

But if adding fluid doesn't help, it could be hurt if it has a ton of miles on it.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

How come the converters can go bad from zero slip?

I will check the trans fluid levels, had trans flushed about 15k miles ago, truck only has about 68k on it.

Just checked it, my truck is backed into my driveway which is a slight uphill so I?ll set it in the garage and check in the morning because the dipstick just read full.

Its not simple to just check the dip stick. bring to trans operational temp and on level surface remove the overfill service plug. Let drip out and your done. Replace plug!

I hate to say it but its possible your trans needs rebuild.

Had mine rebuilt before 10k miles but my new stall is triple disc. so 1-3unlocked and 4-6 locked. Nothing special with tune just copied the HPT youtube video settings.
