Looking For MVPI3 Prolink+ Information
i have a M8 4 wire cable that isn't a Prolink+, i was wondering if anyone else knew if it was possible to make this work without having to buy a separate cable, my main questions are 1. does the ground wire go to the metal threads of the m8 connector saying as any m8 cable is typically a 4 wire and not a 5, making me assume that the ground goes somewhere that isnt a pin. 2. in the box that is shown on the pictures for the cable, is this just a fuse that has been added into it? if my memory serves me correctly i don't remember that black box always being there. and if the answer is yes to both of those questions, does anyone have any knowledge to which pins correlate to the individual wires on the cable. Assuming this very well might not be possible, and not preferred by HP but definitely curious as to if i could make it work.

The ground(black) is the only wire with continuity to a pin.
