Anybody make a cover for the interface to protect pins from being damaged? I see many available for the vehicle port but none for the interface.

what would be causing pin damage? In the 20 or so years I've been using these devices I've never damaged a pin on the device.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
