It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I know its meant to work best with MPVI3/RTD devices.

I'm pretty sure it'll work with your MPVI2 device as well.

Ok cool, will download it a test it. We are planning on get two MPVI3, 1 for me the old guy and 1 for my son. Not trying to be a nag1 but it a little guidance would be nice. Once we send in the MPVI2 the info would be transferred to the two MPVI3?

Yes, just make sure you choose the upgrade path to do so.

"The RTD is only available via direct sale to select, high volume tuning customers."

You can't tune from your iphone if I understand this right. You can't even email yourself a tune to load with your iPhone. Maybe Bill will point if I am wrong.

Correct, however, his question was if we had an app to use on iphones.

Correct, not sure if that means you are "right". The iPhone app is only to allow a tuning shop to send you a tune, IDK I feel that is a pretty important detail when you say we have and iPhone app. Reading this thread makes me think the guy thinks he'll be able to tune from his phone. I'd love to be able to do tunes and in my living and install them with my phone. Or do some data logs from my phone. Or remotely tune my dad's truck, he lives far away and doesn't have a laptop.

You should be able to use the scanner/dtc scanning in it, not just to allow a tuning shop to send you a tune(though that is the main thing it is used for).

I'll try out the scanner! It is a pain to log with the laptop
