Spark is up. OL tuning done. LTFT is back on.
done.

OL is Open Loop fuel trims. PE is OL.
Here's the SD OS applied so that Hi and Lo octane spark works. Regular SD defaults to Lo. MAF isn't going to work too well for this build, so it'll stay SD.
Write entire this file. Save your original somewhere safe because reverting requires write-entire. You'll need this if you go boosted or do any segment swaps like you're talking about. The OS number changes.
This is it I think. Live with it for a while, and if you want anything done or feel something can be improved lmk. Thanks and have fun.
Thank you for all you help. OS? I have no idea how to do the flex fuel thing works yet but if I had to guess it requires a segment swap of some sort or use the entire tune, anyways I don't have a clue yet lol I guess the first thing I have to do is find the file with the flex fuel. which file would be the orignal file for this truck?

Looks like that thing really moves. Spinning up to 40 lol.
Idk which OS you can write to that ECU for enabling FlexFuel. That's a question for the OS guys on here. May start a different thread for that. Once it's done you can apply all the tune changes I've made then upgrade to SDOS again.
Original file I mean any of the ones you want to keep that are the original OS. SD11 was the last. 12 is when HPTuners SD 1 bar Custom OS was applied.

I messed with this for a while trying to figure it out. It looks like you'd want to convert a BIN from 8.1 truck with 4l80e that runs the 6125 OS. I found an HPT in tune repository and copied your settings, not the latest. I made one without flex fuel enabled, and one with fuel flex enabled. There is a bunch of different flex fuel tables, not sure if I got them and all the DTC. These files won't flash in since the SN/VIN aren't right. Well maybe they would if you buy credit and licenses. Looks like the settings copied over. I am not sure how to tell if they are DBW or DBC. I bought a p01 on ebay to see if it will load, I'll try it next week. Sirius do they look right?

Idk if it does or not honestly. I see the Flex Fuel tab, but I can't verify everything works correctly. He'll need the sensor, of course. I see you found a file with the same OS and Flex, so I assume the segment swap is valid. I didn't see one on the repository for doing this.
Here's SD12 with 1 bar SDOS and the Flex changes you made. DTC's copied.
I used VIN editor to put the VIN back in.

what's the difference in the tunes we were writing in compared to a write entire tune?
Write entire writes the entire operating system. Write calibration writes only the tables that you can see through HPT. There's more to the OS than is visible through VCM Editor.
if we can't see and can't change it why do we write entire? sorry for questions
danng did you already switch everything over with that file?
No, he copied it all over. Just saw he didn't do DTC's, so it's good now at the file above.
There's stuff behind the tables that handles the tables. Otherwise they'd be numbers in space doing nothing. VE and injector data are linked, for example. We don't see that code, but it's there. I changed OS's. You have to write-entire now. I'd write the original SD12 custom.
Save the Flex file somewhere for when you're ready to try with the flex sensor. Plus, I don't want there to be something potentially wrong with the Flex tune that gets blamed on what I've done. Like I said, I have no way to verify it works.
Ah, like this. I just checked and noticed the Stoich AFR table isn't setup for ethanol content. It is now.

oh alright sounds good. so write entire the one without flex fuel till it gets figured out? because I already wrote entire the other one. also, thanks again for all yalls help

Yep.
For the Flex file everything looks right. Again, it's what's going on behind the scenes that idk about because I can't see it.
Adding any e85 at this point without changing anything would be a no no till it gets everything adjusted for it like afr?
I'd make a new thread about your Flex enable questions. Have everyone look it over. It'll draw more attention than having it lumped in here.
ok sounds great thanks I'm just going to save it for when the time comes in December.

Adding E85 will make actual AFR different from what's in the tune. This'll make everything leaner. Fuel trims will compensate, but will they compensate through PE reliably? They do on mine, but no way to know without checking.
You're already pretty high timing. There's a point where timing will work against torque even without knock.
Sounds like something that should be tried in small doses like a few gallons to a 26-gallon tank and run the scanner. But you are also saying that im pretty maxed out on timing. So maybe for boost purposes
