new flex fuel os sd12 with 4L80e seg swap.hpt
See if that one works
I set the "unused" to 0 in the system options. I did a segment swap with the old 4l80/8.1L tune file. I also disabled the DTCs for the flex fuel sensor. I added some notes in the notes area.
I am not sure about the knock, I think you fixed a ground for the knock sensor in the middle of messing around with the flex OS? Sirius would be better at the spark tuning than me. Maybe the timing you were running before was not good but the sensor not being ground right didn't show it? Do you have a log from the working Flex fuel tune? I'd post a fresh log and the current .HPT tune you are running for Sirius to look at.
yea I was wondering about the system options it wouldn't let me change anything on that for some reason. but it runs great. ill update when I get a better log and make sure everything is good.
SD12 log looks totally fine.
Was that after the knock sensor wiring? What would cause knock at the same timing. I guess a log is needed to see what is going on. Do you know if needing to do a crank relearn could cause knock? This a file from another motor, the crank learn would be from it, I am not sure if that would cause knock though.
This was very helpful, thank you for sharing.
When you copy over a new OS and config from another truck it wipes out all of the old settings, I am 99.9% sure the crank learn settings would be from the truck the file came from. There are setting in there so it wouldn't pop an error code to rerun it. So if it is running the settings from a different block, crank sensor, crank. Maybe it is a degree or more off? The timing is based on the crank sensor, right? The crank relearn should be done with a new OS. Not sure if that would cause the KR but I can see how it could impact it if timing was already on the edge.

Yes a crank relearn should be done.
What long tube headers did you go with? Did you cut the "ear" off the 4l80e to get them to clear? I assume you installed new motor mounts? Anything that could be banging or rattling?
In that last log the P0327 low voltage knock sensor code was present.
