Need Ready to Probram ECMs

I need two (2) new, ready to program ECMs for 2002 Corvette w/ manual transmission. These have to be preloaded with the latest applicable factory OS supported by HPT and have the VIN block initialized so that I can go straight to tuning with HPT without having to go through all the Tek2 hassle with the dealerships. These are for full-up custom C5 LS-1 based road race Corvettes; never had VINs assigned since they were never factory cars.

Any idea where to get these?

If you have the tunershop version of HPT (full LS1 support), you should be able to purchase just about any ECM and flash any V8 LS1 calibration file to it. This is what I do sometimes for people doing conversions, I purchase an ECM off of eBay and flash the appropriate LS1 calibration for their use. Just download a stock calibration from the repository (if you do not have factory calibration files) and modify it to suite your needs.

By the way, the only way to get the most current OS for a specific application is by going through a dealership and using a Tech2 from what I recall.

smcperformance.com ; it's been about 4-5 years now
but he may still be doing business. Used to have a lot
of LS1 powertrain pieces, I also got a '98 flexplate off
him.
