6.4L Hemi Swapped JK need tune
Ok first post here and very I mean very new to HPtuners as i just got the MVI3 a couple days ago lol...
I have built a Hemi Swapped JK using JSS parts and the ECU they sent has a bad tune on it but I cannot figure out how to fix it...
The Jeep build specs are
Jeep is a 2011 Rubicon (originally 3.8L and 4 speed 42RLE Auto)
Swapped parts are
2021 Scat pack Challenger 6.4L (New JSS harness and their ECU)
2021 Durango 8 speed with manual shift option (New JSS Harness and PCS Module that connects to CAN of the Jeep)
8 speed auto seems to work fine as I was able to drive it for a bit with the missfires as it's better under load then idling but still problematic...
I first thought i fried the ECU as it was running great before i put exhaust on it (I only ran for a few minutes each time and once up to temp with no concerns) and after exhaust was completed it now runs bad and after a few minutes is multi Cyl miss fires, I got another ECU from the Junk yard same make and model as JSS (2009 Ram 1500 5.7L 545RFE) just not the exact same MOPAR part number so not sure if that is a concern or not and then compared/copied the differences to the replacement Computer and the exact same missfires happen except now the dash goes wonky around the gear shift indicators but still goes into gears fine so that lead me to believe the tune is bad, that and I swapped in a 2009 SRT8 6.1L ECU and it runs fine without any missfires at all but it has the wrong tone ring settings as its hard to start and has lots of other codes that are likely due to that ECU being a low Speed bus vs the JK being High speed bus...
If there are any Hemi Swapped JK's here and can assist that would be great as I always try to sort out issues myself so I can better understand the issues...

the part numbers need to match

Thanks for the reply but i am not sure your getting what i mean or at the very least i am not understanding your reply...
If the tune parameters cannot be used on anything but the original ECU without matching that makes no sense to me since there is a compare and transfer option to go from one
ECU to another and in this case both are the exact same year make an model and transmission so all the parameters that are getting used and transferred are the same with only the Part number being different then I guess I can start looking for a matching part number ECU?
However I do know that I cannot directly write the tune from the ECU to another that doesn't but manually editing the ECU2 or doing the transfer of the data from ECU1 to ECU2
should and can be done as I have already done that successfully but the results meaning the tune itself from ECU1 is a bad tune as ECU2 is now operating identically to ECU1 with exception to one minor thing
so I am hoping for help with correcting the tune..

sounds like you know more about it than i do
i thought the VIN had to be changed and the p/n had to match

Vin match is necessary to start the engine and that already has been changed as i do that with my Matco Scanner
so Vin's are already a match on 3 different ECU's I have but I only plan on changing one so that is the only one I bought credits for
so i have narrowed it down to just the tune needs to be changed or some tweaking to fix the missfires...
From What I Understand the VIN and OS (part number) only need to match if your writing the tune to the ECU meaning I cannot take the ECU1 tune and directly write it to ECU2 or ECU3 which is why
you use the compare option and only transfer or change the parts of the tunes that are different then you are editing in this case ECU2 tune file gets edited and then re-written back to ECU2...
