Hello, I am wondering if something is possible and if this may work. Back story, I have a 07 Sky LE5 with E67 ECU. I would like to get the sensor input to work for the ethanol sensor. I am constantly having to dial in my tune due to the changes in E85 from different gas stations on trips. This sensor input works fine for the V8s but not in the I4s. I have worked with HP tuners support over many tickets trying to get this to work and they finally came back saying it just doesn't work with the I4 OS even know the ECU is exactly the same hardware as the V8s.

I had half an idea to purchase another E67 ECU that is out of a v8 such as a Camaro or Trailblazer and try to disable 4 injectors, change the firing order to match my I4, etc. I know also since its a new VIN and vehicle, I would have to buy credits for that one as well.

Things I have no idea if they would work at all:
DBW throttle body, mine is a 8 wire and the LS4 are a 6 wire. I read somewhere it is setup different on the V8 OS.
VATS or the security part using the keys.
VVT, Since my engine us running 2 VVT cams, not sure if that would be an issue or not for programming.

Thoughts?
