new to ls tuning trying to bump power in 6.2 camaro

hello everyone i am new to ls tuning, definitely not proficient in vcm suite as id like to be. Im working on a 2016 6.2 camaro 2ss, im adding headers tomorrow and i am working on the tune now so its ready for when i put them on, i changed around the o2 sensors knock thresholds. I also disabled dfco to give it a little bit of a burble sound, but i really want it to pop loudly so i need some assistance there figuring out which timing table to remove timing from on decel.

Will my potential tune work as intended for the headers?

I heard its possible to give a 6.2 camaro 20-30 wheel horsepower gains with just increasing the afr to be a little rich and adding some degrees of timing. Is this true and how?

setup is stock 6.2 2ss camaro with 1 7/8 headers and xpipe on it, no mufflers.

can it shoot flames from just a tune and a straightpipe?

base tune pulled on arrival 2016 camaro 2ss undercover base tune pulled.hpt
my current tuned file 2016 camaro 2ss undercover iteration #3 headers and burble no speedo.hpt

no, there is very little PEAK power to be had on a stock vehicle. Maybe 5 hp. Now, if it's suffering from a case of false knock or some type of torque limiter then yes. And that's not to say there are no gains to be had from tuning, just not in the form of total hp and tq.

I have seen roughly 10hp gain on ls3 cars. Ive not had a stock lt1 car in yet. Picked up 3hp peak in a crown vic, gained low end and some mid range but peak numbers not so much.

I hope you're not charging for that tune. The car will never burble like that. The Gen V ecu's require some extra work to burble. Can you make it shoot flames? uhhhh theoretically you can but these are DI engines so there is more to it to even attempt.

30hp? Not happening on your attached tune. When you put headers on the LT cars you need to adjust timing in the low and midrange area's or they are dogs.

I know you're new to this so none of what I said is me trying to be mean. You just have a long way to go to tune LT cars. There is a lot of info on the forums already if you search for it.

Heres a burble tune of a 2018 Camaro SS with CAI long tubes and no cats you can open and compare to.

Engine>Spark>Minimum Spark BASE and LONG TERM tables. Reduce top 3 rows (Airmass .4 .8 .12 to 5 degrees or less. The lower the spark the more the burble.
DFCO and CFCO can be turned off to increase the burble effect and length.

Note i called this one extreme cause this was the 4th version to get it where he wanted it as far as popping. He daily's it without issues tho.

Installed tune in 18 camaro ss convertible only issue is throws a p018c fuel pressure b circuit low and loss of communication with fuel pump control module. No performance issues fuel gauge just reads 0 after idling for 1 min

You wrote someone else's tune to your vehicle or one based on what you read from your vehicle?

I would double check and make sure nothing got mistakenly changed in the tune. Dose the code clear and not return when you flash the stock file back in?
