    Boost referenced setup on E38

Ran out of injector running E85 and want to stick with my ID1000s till winter and might spring for a new set of ID1300s.

I have an Aeromotive 1:1 regulator connected to the charge pipe, before the throttle blade and set my base pressure at 60psi.
Running Speed density and VE is tuned in pretty well already.

My understanding is to copy the IFR value for 413 kPa (60psi) and use that for all higher kPa values since the pressure differential will now be a constant 413 kPa
I also set IAT, MAP and Flow multipliers to 1.00

Assuming this is correct, will VE need to be re-adjusted running in boost? Not that I mind doing so, just want to know what to expect and what to watch out for after making this change

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure you need your reference after the throttle body. Pressure in the intake/at the injector will be different there than before the throttle body.

Whatever you set your regulator to with he reference line unhooked is what you want to use for the value, then copy it to the entire table. Not just the values above. Also I believe gtstorey is correct about reference line placement

Yep correct, needs to be plumbed into the intake manifold. This will likely require a fuelling change at low load after correcting.

Want a cunt of a response, then write a shit post. It's a simple formula; Short preamble + problem statement + attempted resolution + pertinent build specs + tune + succinct data log with correct channels

also the same IFR column u use 413kpa also use that column in the offset/volts/pressure table values and copy to all other columns

    Thanks guys...

    07GTS:
"also the same IFR column u use 413kpa also use that column in the offset/volts/pressure table values and copy to all other columns"

So if my IFR value for 413 kPa is 118 lb/h, copy that to the Offset vs Volts vs Map?

Doesn't sound right, maybe I'm misunderstanding you

just use that same pressure column that is already in your offset volts press and put into all others, same as what u done with the IFR just to that other table, what ur base key on engine off fuel pressure is column goes into all others also, same as IFR
