    idle adjustment

Is there steps to adjusting the idle? Idles high. At startup, it starts to go down then shoots up to around 1500.

    Do a tps relearn.

Set Engine>Advance>Base>TPS Hyst. to 0.39 and >Max Speed to 200.

TPS is showing 0.4% not 0.0%. Let's see the tune.

Which vehicle is this? The 408 or your friend's?

It is the 408 isn't it? I was wondering how you got that VE and tight fuel trims so quickly. Then I saw cylinder volume and was like he couldn't have copied this table-for-table.

So. Does this happen with the SD12 tune I made or is this a feature of the FlexFuel hybrid file?

yea it was going on the other, but it was only every once in a while, and on startup. I just didn't want you to bother with it because it was drivable. Maybe a touch of air back in it, its really close and transitions though gears pretty good without much idle fluctuation. I guess since we are on the subject I do have other questions on the transmission side of things about the way you set it up. The 4l80 has a shift kit but it doesn't shift hard like a shift kit does under wot and about 60mph it seems like Torq convertor locks up quickly under part throttle.

Oh you should've said something. I told you to run it a while and let me know if anything comes up.

Make a log and include LTIT (Gear, PN) and STIT.

sorry for getting back a couple of days later. I notice it only acts up and wont idle down after start up but when driving around it goes down as normal. I was also considering putting on the d1sc supercharger a 4.25 pulley and was wondering if you would help me tune it afterwards.

It idled down a little more still sits around 1200rpm after startup. I moved the idle airflow restriction to this file. The other file would instantly die several times. This is the current file on the truck.

That last statement and the file are confusing. Could try playing around with those tables with focus on friction airflow initial.

the file you adjusted was from a couple of days ago and when I loaded it, it would die so i put the original back on the truck. I just moved the friction airflow you adjusted. however, I was wondering if you would still help me if I went ahead and put on the supercharger?

I adjusted all the friction tables. Did you try it like that or just the one?

    Yeah I'll help.

just the one and that was the result with that tune. I took it down another 7 on the initial and it's not really moving the startup idle off of 1200. i guess i can play with it some more.

Bro, you deleted all the tune detail notes. You should keep those and a date log with changes you are making.
