So the other day, I read a 2017 Nissan Titan and saved the file. Then the next day I went to read another car and when I opened up VCM Editor, It tried to load the last tune file as it always does, but this time it came up with a dialog attempting to contact HPTuners server. Because I was offline, the communication failed and the software basically told me that I couldn't edit the file unless I was connected to HPTuners. What is the deal with this? I was able to read and write an 2008 F-150 the next day with no internet access, so why does the Nissan require an internet connection to mess with the file and the Ford doesn't?
