Mpv pro to mpvi3 upgrade

Been gone for a while and have searched.

What do i gain from turning in my mpvi pro cable to upgrade.
The price seems to be the same either way.
The cars i have licenced on the cable are long gone.
So should i just buy a new cable and discard my mpvi pro?

Keep your mpvi pro and buy a mpvi3. You will regret the upgrade due to being tied to the v5 software.

yea keep the pro, the V5 software is useless for anything other than "normal"...
