Yes, I can put something together for you. I always prefer working with the truck's file though. There are too many variables between trucks to just put up a generic tune and hope it works.

Here's a 70 HP file. Just FYI, your tune was definitely not completely stock. This is a free file, so it may not be perfect, but it should run good.

thanks! Yeah I know it wasn?t stock, it was deleted and there was no lights on. I bought the truck like that. Did it look like stock power level? It?s throwing a p0106 map sensor code so I have to figure that out. Who would you recommend for tuning it to like 120hp?

It was probably slightly over stock power. Looked like a tow tune, with turbo braking on decel.

I can set up a tune for 120 hp. If you want it done right, though, I'll want to take more time at it. And I would charge a little to cover for my time. I'll send a PM with more details.

I would say yes. Tuning is my hobby, so I don't do it all day, every day, but I have several years of experience, and I own and drive these trucks, too.

Okay. You should start advertising. Theres not many people who offer tuning with hp tuners for these trucks. Can you tell by the tuning if the truck has an lly or lbz?

The VIN is the easiest way to tell. The 8th digit is the engine designation. LBZs are VIN D. Your truck is a VIN 2, which is called an LLY, but that's just a weird thing GM did for half a year. The physical engine is an LBZ, but the tune from stock had the same power level as the LLY.
