2015 Silverado, 5.3, DoD delete, best stock cam?

Like the title says looking for the best stock cam to use for a 5.3 DoD delete. Don't want any "chop". Would like to retain the VVT. I don't do many of these swaps in the trucks and definitely not with completely stock cams but customer wants stock driveability which I totally understand.

    TIA

From ones I've tuned and what I see out of the VE changes and so on, I would recommend an L86 stock replacement DOD delete cam and do the L86 intake manifold and tb at the same time. Customers always seem pretty happy with that as it should make the little 5.3 run pretty close to a stock tuned 6.2l. You will need to contact Will_974 to get the effective area and throttle max settings for the L86 tb put into the cal, but other than that everyone that's done it seems pretty happy with it. I've also had a few do the l8t cam, but that one always seems to require a lot more specialized fuel table dial in so it maintains fueling at all temps better whereas the l86 cam only needs a little of that. At least those are the two setups I would recommend.
    2010 Vette Stock Bottom LS3 - LS2 APS Twin Turbo Kit, Trick Flow Heads and Custom Cam - 12psi - 714rwhp and 820rwtq / 100hp Nitrous Shot starting at 3000 rpms - 948rwhp and 1044rwtq still on 93
    2011 Vette Cam Only Internal Mod in stock LS3 -- YSI @ 18psi - 811rwhp on 93 / 926rwhp on E60 & 1008rwhp with a 50 shot of nitrous all through a 6L80

Let me chime in here. I did a 2018 Silverado 5.3 delete and added a stage 1 cam, 6.2 intake and T/B with shorty headers. Greg tuned it for me. It has just a little chop at idle which I like but has not hurt driveability. In normal stock shifting I get up to 20+ mpg on the highway. The truck really performs in tow mode and manual shifting. I have been very pleased with how well the engine runs.

Just did a hardware delete to the L83 in my wifes Suburban. She gave me very specific instructions: do not mess with my car it does not need to be faster.

So I went with a Texas Speed DOD delete cam with factory profile. Runs exactly like stock, no tuning needed beyond disabling DOD which was already done.
