    AEM obd2 wideband and MPVI3

Sooo? why the hell doesn?t the obd2 wideband work with MPVI3 when it worked perfectly fine with the 2?? When I have the AEM pass through connected and the MPVI3 plugged into it, none of the parameters are supported and won?t allow the vcm scanner to log anything.. anyone have any insight on this issue?

Never mind, bought a pro link cable. Have to cut the obd2 plug off the wideband and wire in the pro link+ and repin the wires on the AEM in the right spots.

Huh? You should be able to use it via the obd2 connection. I would make sure you have the right channel and that the mpvi3 will work in general as some windows OS's wont work with them... I know some of my customers have had to reload or swap channels to get it to work, but it always has.

I believe it?s the fact it?s a global B vehicle, mpvi3 works perfectly without the AEM pass through connected, but then when the pass through is in the mix none and I mean NONE of the parameters are supported, they all have the broken connection emblem next to them.

None of the Normal function parameters are not supported when it?s plugged in, not just a wideband channel. I know how to poll the wideband and get them connected but literally nothing works when the pass through is plugged in

I think in this case you would need to ask hpt. I know it's possible. I just did a 22 not that long ago and I know he was having the same problem with channels not working or dropping out and then working. I don't know exactly what he wound up doing, but he was able to get all of his to work.

I?m gonna just wire it in through the pro link and be done with it. Electronics are majorly different in the 23+ plus trucks from the 22?s.
