2019 Dodge Challenger RT ECU unlock issue.

    2019 Dodge Challenger RT
Disconnected Battery. removed ECU and sent into Hptuners for unlock service. pulled OG file and sent to Hptuners. Received Unlocked ECU back from Hptuners . Installed ECU, Hooked battery back up. Cleared DTCs per HPtuners paperwork in box. Vehicle will not start. Can link to ECU and read file, lights come on everything seems to be communicating but when trying to start it will not engage starter. Started a ticket Friday morning but have not heard back from them. Has anyone ran into this issue before? what was the outcome? Thanks

Also wanted to add vehicle ran fine pulled into a parking spot that it could sit untouched no battery connected until ECU returned from Hptuners. Im going to assume its something in the ECU they did or didnt do that has caused this issue. I also noticed when logging with the scanner it shows IAT at negative -87 degrees. Also I did disconnect battery and took ECU back out and inspected for any bent pins in ECU and terminals on ECU connectors. The key fob works, will unlock and lock doors, even when key on it does say Key fob battery low, thought maybe that was the issue but put a new battery in and still the same issue.

was the car parked in that spot when you installed the security bypass cable?

Update. Today I removed bypass cable and put factor pigtail back in. no start.
I put bypass back in a read file from HPtuners. Was able to read. Did a write entire of that file back into ECU. Checked for codes. found only DTC was a P1400 current. From what I read that's normal. Went to engine diag and hit clear DTCs. Went to Trans diag and cleared DTCs. Went to start vehicle and still no engagement of starter. Checked codes again and got 3 codes, P1400, U1110, and U0100. Mind you battery is at 12.04volts. I put a charger on battery and charged battery just to verify voltage good but still no start. Checked fuses, all fuse good. All relays test good. Pulled starter relay and power probbed. Starter will crank engine fine. Still No word from HPtuners granted it is the weekend. Hopefully hear from them Monday. Also remove key from vehicle, keyed on and got message No key fob detected. So I know the key is seen by vehicle.

sounds like a connector issue or pin code issue, is the red security light flashing on the dash?

guessing either a glitch when they flashed it or a fried RF hub

does or did that car have a tazer installed in it?

It has the HPTuners bypass cable. other than that I dont see any other add on. It doe have a uprgraded radio/screen that owner put in but it was plug and play and car was starting fine with that.

Compare the original OS # to the current.
If in doubt, multiply everything by 1.1.

    Update:
Issue fixed. After back & forth messages, data logs, OS checks etc. etc. . I finally got Hptuners to send a return label. ECU was sent back to HPTuners. few days later I received a message saying they were replacing the original ECU with a brand new unit. I received the new ECU Friday. Installed and fired right up no issues.
