    this makes no sense

i dont understand what is going on here. Just driving around normal and then looked at this log and seen 1.3 in one area and then .77 in another right next to the lean spot. And why is it going into open loop? How can i fix this?current.hpl91 octa.hpt

Time stamp? I'm not digging through 11 minutes of data trying to find it.

And what exactly are we looking at?? What's been done to it?

I am guessing it is because your post cat fuel test is enabled, desoot is still enabled, and there are no rear O2 and cats. During coast down the ECM will go rich trying to "find" the signal from the rear O2 sensors. Simply disabling them via HPT does not change this.

There are a lot of background changes in this revision. Most of them you cannot see with HPT as they were done with XDF files. But nothing was changed directly regarding fueling, airflow, etc. Try this and see if this fixes it.

here is how it looks now after i wrote the revision. This was just a short drive around the block and i must say it even felt good however, I noticed that you have me in open loop. Is that on purpose? Shit man! Ill leave it in open loop until it dies if you think that is how I should leave it. My wide band is an AEM 30-4110 and that is an option in the scanner to choose when setting it up so i believe it to be true. Should i keep tuning the vve with your assistant program using the open loop eq error?cringer.hpl ...Thank you Dan for taking the time to help me out. I am truly thankful

I don't see any of the lean or rich spots like you had in the first log, so it looks like the changes helped. Glad it is driving better.

Also, I did not change anything related to commanding OL vs SD, should be exactly the same. I do not like OL tunes at all BTW. Are you sure it is running in OL? Can you please get another log with the attached channels?

In the scanner click open channel config and load it. You will also need to fix the wideband PID to work with yours.

There is something preventing it from going into Closed Loop. A lot of DTC's were disabled so this tune is enabling them so hopefully we can see what is keeping the car in OL. Flash, drive, log, post....

hello sir i have been away from home working for the last 2 days but i am back home and ready to work on the tune again. My wife has been driving it around and is happy with how it is running and we want to thank you for taking the time to help. So i will write this into the tune tomorrow and report back ASAP. By the way i think it is staying in open loop because the O2 readiness is set to 400
