Using Track Addict with Cell Disabled

I'd like to use Track Addict at my local track - however, they disallow phones in cars because of the phones' setting to automatically dial emergency services when they sense a critical accident. They have onsite emergency services so they don't want phones doing this unnecessarily.

Can anyone comment on use of Track Addict with just GPS signal and cellular signal disabled?

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Hello Rob! I completely sympathize with your worries over cell phone use at the track. With cellular data and GPS signal turned off, Track Addict is unquestionably usable. For optimal accuracy, start your session while your GPS lock is strong and have the app open in the foreground. Without a cellular connection, the app should function flawlessly for data logging and lap timing, so you should be good to go! Enjoy yourselves at the track!
