    04.5 Fueling limiter help!!

Long time lurker, first time poster here and need some help finding what limiter is stopping me from getting full fuel.

I feel like I've tried everything, still cant find what's limiting my fuel. Total fuel rate peaks at 141 mm^3, and All Speed Gov tends to peak at 140-151mm^3. All the limiters I could find are turned up a good bit past what Id need, and I'm still coming up short.

Attached is the tune file, and 3 data logs.

    3.5.1 LAUNCH.hpl

Ill take a better look at it later today, but the amount that it cuts at seems to bounce around between a few quantities. Ive seen between ~135, ~144 and ~155, its got me thinking that the limiter is barometric or boost pressure related, as thats the only thing that should be able to fluctuate like that.

I briefly looked at your tune and there are some limiters still in place. Its a little more then just telling you what to do as there is a lot of theory behind the changes. That knowledge is what I would consider to be necessary to make these changes and end up with a good tune. Just telling you where to put numbers might remove your limiters but will not help you develop a good tune. Maybe I can figure out how to share a section of my tune you can use as comparison. I'll see if I can work out the nitty gritty of file sharing on here.

Thatd be awesome if you could share a file. Id agree 100% at knowing the theory of the changes too.

That tune has recently undergone alot of revisions and is alot more squared away now. Will see if I can post it today. Thanks

Then your timing ramps up to 12* and your Total fuel rate drops to 144mm3. Id give you a direction to look if I had one but I looked all through your tune where my knowledge would lead and have come up dry. Hopefully some one more advanced in the matter can chime in and help.
I would make sure to smooth out your fuel pressure table and timing table to refine things. Then try chasing the problem again.

Currently in my tune I'm in the process of reducing pre injection and getting my SOI mapped accordingly. It has woken the truck up a ton, but I have a ways to go still.

Let me know if Im taking it wrong, but it sounds a little but like its more of it getting near the limit of the injector, rather than the ECM limiting it?

your fuel psi and main timing both need a lot of work, i'd kill post as well. limiters killed and high-speed gov should still work and let the fuel eq map work "smoke limit" that one is a ratio map 1:1 stoich
I gave you a few things in there the rest is on you https://we.tl/t-l2ixy7IquC tune is in the link

I second getting rid of Post injection, that cleaned up my haze considerably. I have 25% over injectors

work your pressure table......work your timing table....and make your fuel volume axis(mm3) on 145 instead of 165...on every table....will fix lot of issue

Not doubting you, just curious about why. Ive seen another post here that was saying that if you wanted to fuel beyond the stock limit you would have to expand the axis beyond the stock limit (140mm3).

About the timing and fuel pressure tables, I havent messed with those a whole lot so Id have to do more research on em, but do you have any tips on those?

Got a chance to run it today, and it had a hard time building boost. I suspected pulsewidth, so ran it through a calculator and input those values, and it pulls really good now. Got a chance to rework my timing and fuel psi and am happy with both em now too.
