Has this been done with Hp tuner?
I?ve seen threads elsewhere about having to take your truck into GM to have them flash this option. Provided you add all the factory wiring and switches.
Just curious if you can get into the options to add cruise control to a W/T that never came with one.
Most likely it has cruise enabled in ECM, but disabled in BCM.
It can't be done with HPT.

Totally different vehicle but my Kia Soul only needed to swap in the steering wheel with the switches to make cruise control work. But it doesn't have a light in the dash to show the status of CC.
Ok thanks. I kind of figured that. Wonder if you swapped an identical trucks BCM into mine if it would work.
Post tune file. If I have reversed your ECM OS I will confirm whether cruise is enabled or not.
