    MY22+ LT1 crate engine controllers

Does anyone know what changed with the LT1 in MY2022+? GMPP states that 2022+ engines cannot use an earlier controller. Was there a mechanical change to the engine hardware? I thought I read somewhere that the VVT cam phaser might have changed from 22-on.

I wonder if that is something easily adjusted in a pre-2022 calibration? Or with a phase limiter? There are older GMPP files posted here and elsewhere, but I've never seen a 22+, or even a 3-pin GMPP file in the wild.

If somebody can post both, I’ll dig out the differences. I need to run a new phaser on an older computer so… here we are.

You can download a stock GMPP file from GM SPS and use MDI2 to load it. Then read the ECM to get it into hptuners.

Oh? I wasn?t aware you could download the GMPP files on sps. I thought you had to enter a valid vin. I have a subscription but never tried to lookup the GMPP calibration.

    Here you go Dave
    LT1 2022+ version
    LT1 2017-2021 version
    LT1 2014-2016 (4 wire sensor)

These are different transmission versions, so no exactly apples to apples. I'm sure you can find the differences in the OS.

radrace, wow. That's awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. I've been searching for those for a very long time. There is a version of the analog file out there with a different CVN for the Engine Operation Segment. Yours matches the one I have which is straight out of the box from GMPP.
    Cheers,
    Todd

What has a four wire? I don't see anything in service with a four wire sensor relation to the cam position sensor or the phaser.

4-wire refers to the high side fuel pressure sensor. Early ones were analog (4-wire), later ones were digital (3-wire).

there is one of these LT1 crate engine files (analog, 4-pin) out there which is, more or less, identical to the one you posted Radrace. But, the engine operation segment has a different CVN, so it is suspect. Yours matches mine in all segments.

GM had a few different revisions so that could be why it is different.

Coming back to this?. I'm relatively new to SPS, but I don't quite understand how to get GMPP calibrations from SPS. I always have to enter a valid VIN, and even then I only get the latest versions of each module for that VIN. SPS/TIS can't even recognize the calibration IDs for the GMPP cals, for example to check the CVN.

What might I be missing to download these GMPP files from SPS? I do have the subscription with a few open VIN slots.
