Having an issue with a 22 cummins swapped to the tuneable cm240 ecms. Truck was previously tuned by someone else and had some issues so I tried to flash a new file with efi and truck would start and die. Tried a few different files and same issue until truck ended up just not cranking at all. Found out the truck was flashed with hp originally so ended up finding the original tune file as well so I flashed that file in and having the same issue no crank no start.... no codes anywhere I can see with alphaobd. Never fails a flash and can communicate with the ecm completely lost with this....

sounds like the secrurity system is shutting it down. thats exactly what they do if the vin or antitheft codes are mismatch , scan the bcm and see if it has codes. it will set codes in bcm if antitheft is shutting it down

No codes in the bcm at all on alphaobd

Was the HPT file the one that was originally pulled from the truck? Or just one that matches?

hp tuners is horrible with tuning the 19 plus ecu's.. the best way to tune those is with calterm and nexiq.
